Week 6 - June 15th - 21st (Mon & Sat)

This class will introduce students to a wide range of hand building techniques and provide opportunities to work on projects over time. We will explore slab building, coil pots, pinch pots, sculpture, and many other techniques.

THIS CLASS DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY TIME ON THE POTTERS WHEEL - Handbuilding techniques only.

Suitable for total beginners or those with some experience. Instructor will demonstrate projects each week for students to follow along with or students may choose to work on their own ideas/self lead. Feel free to come in with your own ideas!

All clay, glaze and firing are included in your class fee. Also included in the class fee is open studio time. See below for those details.

Additional Open Studio time is available during scheduled class weeks, with some exceptions. Open studio time is non-instructional time to practice or work on current projects. This time is included with your class fee. You are welcome and encouraged to come in for some practice time or to work on current projects.

Saturday mornings, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Monday Evenings, 6:00 - 9:00pm

There is NO Monday open studio time Week 1. Please see weekly schedule above with open studio days noted in parentheses

As of now, we will not be limiting students' Open Studio time. This may change as we determine student and studio needs. Wheels are first come first serve during open studio time.
